Race Day Schedule:
- Packet Pickup: YMCA of the Upper Pee Dee start time: 7:30am pre reg
- Race Start Time (race begins at 8:30am)
- There will be an all day event with the 5K kicking off at 8:30am followed by a craft fair, food vendors, and good music and bands all to support our cause and to celebrate a yearly event FretsFest that has taken place in our town for the last 10 years. There will be activities, face painting, a balloon twister on stilts, and also a song writer competition. This will be a very exciting and fun day. The evening entertainment will take place starting at 8pm with comedy, a comedic hypnotist and more great singers and bands. Please plan to stay and attend it all. The street fair does not require admission fee but evening entertainment has a small donation fee. This will be family fun for all. This is being organized to raise awareness and get funding for treatment for those suffering all forms of mental illness with few if any resources in our community. We must change the stigma and negativism surrounding this disease and be open and receptive to help others and receive help if needed. Leslie’s Hope was named for Leslie Duke that lost her struggle with this disease and committed suicide in January 2016. She was a well-loved and beautiful girl with lots of friends but was a tortured soul inside her own mind. She wanted nothing greater than to help all the others like herself find peace and comfort and a new lease on life. She talked about it often with her family and closest friends.

Shirts will be available for pre -registration participants until September 28, 2017. Not guaranteed the day of after this date but may still be available.

- Strollers are welcome
- You may listen to music during the Run/Walk at your own discretion and liability
- Pets are welcome
- No parking anywhere on Carolina Avenue downtown but lots of parking all around
- No age restrictions but winners have categories
